In order to minimize your out-of-pocket expenses, our office accepts a variety of HMOs, PPOs, and other health plans. For our HMO, PPO, and managed care patients, we do remind you that it is your responsibility to obtain authorization from your primary care physician for your treatment. Although we accept and participate in most managed care and insurance plans, please call our office to set up an appointment with our podiatrist and verify that we accept your insurance carrier. We offer electronic insurance claim submission for your convenience. We will educate you about costs before your visit and provide transcripts for insurance coding and ethical billing. Payment and co-pays are expected upon your visit for all non-covered services and over-the-counter products. While visiting us, please have your insurance cards and referral documents with you. If applicable, please provide us with all information concerning workman’s compensation.
NO INSURANCE? We understand our patients’ concern of the cost of health care. The cost of care should not create a hardship; we encourage our patients to discuss any questions concerning their care with our staff members. We offer low cost programs which can assist you in receiving care at a price you can afford.
